Radio Orienteering

A new event record was set this year of 3 minutes 6 seconds betting last years fastest by 54 seconds.

18 teams took part over the two days.

The new record was set by one scout, the rest of his team didn't turn up but he was keen to go anyway. Well done to Tom Speight, the "Lone Ranger" from 1st High Lane.

Winning team was 1st Norbury in a time of 6 minutes

Runners up were 2nd Hadfield in 8 minutes

Radio Sation (JOTA)

283 contacts made in total.
31 countries worked, including Guatemala (CW), Brazil and South africa.
40 UK JOTA stations contacted at least once.
14 international JOTA stations contacted including Scout HQ HB9S.
33 contacts made using morse code.

Electronic construction

140 units of this years project were constructed.
A further 20, of previouse years project by those taking their electronics badge.
