PMR 446 is a radio service for the public free of charge; no radio licence needed. PMR stands for Personal Moblie Radio. It con be used for personal, business, lesure or just for looking after and keeping touch with you children. Some PMR's have VOX which can be used in conjunction with a hands free headset and 'pushes the button' for you; instead of PTT (Push To Talk).
