CAMPING ARRANGEMENTS

For a short Camp of less than five nights, no previous application is required. For five nights or more, the usual 'Form' and fee, except in the case of Greater Manchester East Scouts, must be sent to our full time resident Camp Warden:

Applications should be made in writing to the above address, enclosing a stamped addressed envelope for reply. Campers without Leaders in attendance should bring written authorisation from the group.

CAMPING AREAS
17 ¼ acres surrounded on three sides by woods and plantations of trees to provide shelter and windbreaks on the fields. There are three main field. There is normally a field warden resident in the camping area. There is a large "Storm Hut" which can be used in adverse weather conditions.

WASHING
Ablution facilities are provided in toilet blocks with hot and cold water for washing and showers. Drying room available in main complex.

COOKING
Wood fires may be used for cooking. Wood is available on site together with fire stands.
